By Metrolink
The quickest way to travel to the festival from outside of the city is via Metrolink. St Peter’s Square station is a 3 minute walk from the main entrance of Manchester Central. Deansgate-Castlefield station is also close by with the entrance to Manchester Central signed from the station.
St Peter’s Square is served by services on all lines except Line 4 from Bury to Piccadilly. Passengers travelling on the Bury line outside peak times can change at Victoria, Shudehill or Piccadilly Gardens for services to St Peter’s Square.
Follow the signs from the station to Manchester Central.
St Peters Square and Deansgate-Castlefield stations are both in Metrolink Zone 1. Passengers with tickets including Zone 1 can travel betweeen all stations in Zone 1 including Piccadilly & Victoria rail stations on the same ticket.

By train
The nearest mainline train station is Deansgate. The station is served by trains on the Transpennine lines between Liverpool, Leeds & Sheffield. Northern Trains services to Bolton, Blackpool and beyond also serve Deansgate.
From the station platforms, follow signs for Metrolink. Cross over the bridge to the Metrolink station then follow the signs for Manchester Central.
For trains from other destinations, Manchester Central is a 20 minute walk from Piccadilly & Victoria Stations or just five minutes by taxi.
From Piccadilly, connecting trains can be caught to Oxford Road Station which is served by more trains than Deansgate and is just 5 minutes from Manchester Central on foot.

free bus
Manchester free bus (formerly Metroshuttle) is a free service which links the city centre’s main rail stations, shopping areas and businesses running until approximately 10pm each evening.

The nearest free bus stops to Manchester Central are on Peter Street outside the Radisson hotel (route 1) or on Deansgate outside the Great Northern Warehouse (route 2)
